PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give cargo fixing or unfixing operation to a handled cargo fixing device in a cargo handling vehicle having the handled cargo fixing device for fixing handled cargoes set into handled cargo holding means, without depending on a worker. SOLUTION: A pallet fixing device 10 is provided on a platform 4 elevatable along a cargo handling mast 3. An operating arm 51 for operating a fixed arm 11 of the pallet fixing device 10 is provided protruding to the rear face of the platform 4. A dog member 52 is provided at a reference height position of the cargo handling mast 3. The operation arm 51 abuts on the dog member 52 with the elevating operation of the platform 4, whereupon the fixed arm 11 is turned to a position of fixing the pallet 8 and to a position of unfixing it.
