PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple hat simplified in attaching to a flat and soft hat material a circular thin metallic plate to be bent into a circumferential direction. SOLUTION: This simple hat is formed by attaching a thin plastic metallic plate in a circular form to a soft and flat hat material 1 such as a nonwoven fabric and convergently bending the metallic plate in a circumferential direction; wherein evenly bending parts 3 gradually becoming bigger from one side rim to the other side rim are formed through using a tape material obtained by applying an adhesive 4 to one side of a tape-like aluminum thin plate 2 and coating the resultant product with a separation tape 5 and clipping the material into conic rollers 6 and 6 having previously wave-like projecting stripes 61, and the tape material 2a is attached to a given position of the hat material 1 after removing the separation tape 5 therefrom. It is further effective if the tape-like aluminum thin plates 2 are thinned and attached to a plurality of layers made through superimposing the bending parts 3 on each other.
