PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which bad printing or a jam, caused by bad feeding or overlapping when using various kinds of paper, hardly occurs. SOLUTION: The interval between a preceding paper and a succeeding paper is judged by a paper detecting means 25 for sensing the front and rear end of paper. When the detected interval is shorter than the prescribed length, the feed timing of the succeeding paper is shifted, so that paper feeding is properly performed.
