PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple constitution which prevents goods from falling from a supporting board in the case of emergency stop for a transportation device which controls horizontal motion of goods on the supporting board using a positioning pin mounted on this supporting board. SOLUTION: It is constituted to have a transportation unit 2 which runs along a traveling path, a supporting board 6 which is mounted on the transportation unit 2 and moves back and forth freely in horizontal direction, a positioning pin 6 which projects from the supporting board 6 and engages with a engaging hole 30a at the bottom of goods 30, and an upward movement prevention means 10 which is laid over the goods 30 at least partially at the upper part of the goods 30 placed on the supporting position when the aforementioned transportation unit 2 is running and which is placed in the transportation unit 2 without coming into contact with the goods on the supporting board 6 when the aforementioned supporting board 6 moves backward.
