FIELD: methods and equipment for checking talking paths in communication systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed method and equipment are designed to organize talking path including compression and expansion of voice signal between first and second telephone sets of which both take part in call between at least two telephone sets, to generate signal unambiguously identifying first telephone set, to transmit this signal from first telephone set, and to check-up second telephone set for signal reception through talking path organized between first and second telephone sets.
