PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the trouble of removing a cursor, which is attached on the top of a manual feed assembly as a paper width guide with a magnet so that it can be detached to prevent it from coming into contact with an attaching/detaching unit when this attaching/detaching unit is pulled out upon jam clear or replacement of a photosensitive drum, whenever the attaching/detaching unit is pulled out from an image forming device which has the attaching/ detaching unit, which is pulled out in the direction parallel to the paper feed direction of the manual feed assembly, with a document table, a transfer separation unit, a fixing unit, and a paper feed unit incorporated at the top of a manual feed assembly. SOLUTION: The cursor as a paper width guide of the manual feed assembly is attached to the attaching/detaching unit so that it will move when the unit is pulled out, and consequently there will be no need to detach it and it will not contact the unit and come off when it fails to be removed.
