PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for throwing the material onto a material throw-in conveyor of a production line with the optimal interval. SOLUTION: This material throw-in control conveyor device 1 is provided with a control conveyor 4 continuously provided to the upstream side of the material throw-in conveyor 2A of the production line L, a pass-through sensor 5 for detecting the material 3 passing between the control conveyor 4 and the material throw-in conveyor 2A, a stop sensor 6 for detecting the material 3 passing at a position in the upstream side separated from a detecting position of the pass-through sensor 5 at the predetermined distance, and a control unit 7 for controlling the running of the control conveyor 4 on the basis of the detection signal sent from the pass-through sensor 5 and the stop sensor 6. After a front end of the material 3A going ahead is detected, when a front end of a following material 3B is detected, the control conveyor 4 is stopped, and after the predetermined time is passed from the detection of the front end of the material 3A going ahead, the control conveyor 4 is made to run again to control an interval between throw-in of the material 3 to be thrown onto the material throw-in conveyor 2A at the predetermined time.
