PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle holder enabling a choice between vertically holding a drinking water container and obliquely holding it for use. SOLUTION: When a drinking water container such as a can, a PET bottle or the like is vertically held, the bottom portion of the drinking water container is received by a bottom receiving portion 20. When the drinking water container falls down, the side portion of the drinking water container is secured to a first fall preventing portion 28. On the contrary, when the drinking water container is obliquely held, the bottom portion of the drinking water container is received by the bottom receiving portion 20, the downward surface of the side portion of the drinking water container is received by a side receiving portion 36 and further the upward surface of the side portion of the drinking water container is secured to a second fall preventing portion 38.
