PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a current value suitable for catching judgment control from pulsed voltage applied from a PWM power circuit to a motor. SOLUTION: The motor 14 is supplied with power from the PWM power circuit 70 and is thereby rotated to cause a slide door 11 to slide. A control method for catching judgement is such that a current value of the motor 14 is compared with a reference current value to detect any abnormal sliding of the slide door 11. An alternating-current-range current value A of the motor 14 measured when the duty ratio E of the PWM power circuit 70 is less than 100% is corrected to a corrected current value C corresponding to the actual load on the motor 14, using a correction coefficient B before comparison with the reference current value. The correction coefficient B is determined from the duty ratio E and a battery voltage D.
