PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication technology in which not only a solution can be provided stably in comparison with a conventional method but also there is a arithmetic quantity reduction advantage by surely finding the solution only by solving an eigenvalue problem twice. SOLUTION: In the communication system for performing signal processing adaptive to the characteristics of a transmission line in the transmitter and the receiver, the right side transmitter detects a coefficient sent from the left side receiver and corrects the transmission function or/and spatial frequency characteristics of a transmitting signal by using the coefficient, and the left side receiver detects the correlation of the received signal, finds a coefficient for correcting the characteristics of the transmitting signal and the received signal by decomposing the product matrix of a correlative matrix with the correlation as an element and the inverted matrix of this matrix into eigenvalues, corrects the frequency characteristics or/and spatial frequency characteristics of the received signal by using the relevant coefficient, transmits the relevant coefficient to the right side transmitter and corrects the transmission function or/and spatial frequency characteristics of the transmitting signal. |
