PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable anybody to easily execute an image simulation by simply realizing the image simulation for interior design by optionally arranging a curtain to be a virtual three-dimensional object and compositing the curtain with a real unspecified site picture to be a background image. SOLUTION: A real site picture of an indoor state is inputted by a scanner and displayed on a simulation picture area 81 as a background image 85. When the four corner positions of a curtain allocating area 86 are specified by mouse clock operation, the reference curtain shape of a curtain type selected in a curtain type selection picture area 82 is deformed to the same shape as the curtain allocating area 86 so as to match with positional relation between the background image and its viewing point. The converted curtain shape data are allocated to the area 86 and curtain texture selected by a curtain texture selecting picture area 83 is composited and displayed by texture mapping. The processing is repeated in curtain allocating areas, curtain types and curtain texture sorts.
