PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner with reduced labor required for cleaning the cleaner. SOLUTION: In the air cleaner, high voltage is applied between a discharge electrode and a counter electrode opposite to the discharge electrode. Air is made to flow between the discharge electrode and the counter electrode by electrostatic force to attract dusts in the air on the counter electrode and remove odor components in the air by a filter cartridge.
