PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for a display having a barrier rib contributing to an improvement of luminance and contrast, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In this member for a display, the upper part of the barrier rib is black and contains a filler having an average particle diameter of 0.005-0.08μm, and the lower part thereof contains low-melting glass. In this manufacturing method of the member for a display, a pattern obtained by exposing and developing two kinds of photosensitive paste containing the low- melting glass and the filler having an average particle diameter of 0.005-0.08μm by a photolithography method is baked to form the barrier.
