PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for alignment by which the working efficiency can be improved by rationally performing alignment when transporting work is performed by using a transport, such as a robot, etc., particularly, a direct driven robot having a small flexibility. SOLUTION: The device which performs alignment by using a plurality of transport means completes the alignment until a work W is transported to a target position by causing the transport means transport the work W after or while the means makes partial alignment.
