PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission type screen realizing picture qualities with high contrast and high resolution while preventing a moire pattern or scintillation (fluctuation in an image) and causing no darkening phenomenon (the phenomenon that when the observation angle is shifted from the front, the opening part becomes invisible at a specified angle or more and the brightness of the screen drastically decreases to make the display light invisible). SOLUTION: The transmission type screen uses a lens sheet having the following structure. The sheet has a microlens array formed on one surface of a light transmitting substrate and has a photosensitive resin layer having a modified part corresponding to the condensing effect of each unit lens formed on a flat face in the opposite side to the microlens array. A light shielding layer having≥60% shielding rate is formed in the region where the condensed light by the each unit lens does not enter. A layer having a light diffusing function is formed on the whole face on the light shielding layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
