PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage tank and a method for the storage of an easily polymerizable compound effective for preventing the clogging of an acceptance pipe and a delivery pipe connected to the storage tank by the polymerization or freezing of acrylic acid, enabling stable handling of (meth)acrylic acid and its ester and reducing the loss of the product. SOLUTION: The storage tank having an acceptance pipe and a delivery pipe is provided with a circulation line directly connecting the acceptance pipe to the delivery pipe or a circulation line connected to the storage pipe and the delivery pipe. The storage method comprises the storage of the easily polymerizable compound in the storage tank while circulating the compound through the circulation line. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
