PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device and an image reading device and an image forming device which are provided with a sheet feeding device, which is simply constituted and also capable of reducing cost and space and excellent in reliability and durability. SOLUTION: When using a sheet containing section 2, turning members 4 and 5 constituting the sheet containing section 2 are projected from container space elastically, and the projected turning members 4 and 5 are made to stop at specified sheet containing positions by a stopping means comprising the projection sections formed in the bottom faces of the turning members 4 and 5 and locking sections, which are arranged in the device body 1A and are used for locking the projection sections when the turning sections 4 and 5 are projected.
