PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oblique slip of fed documents or the like by adding a paper pressing guide for preventing a side surface of the documents from going beyond a guide member upon feeding the documents from a document tray. SOLUTION: In a side guide disposed in the document tray, a manual tray, or the like, a paper pressing guide 18 is disposed on the tip side of a guide member 15 in the conveying direction risably and settably toward the upper surface of the documents. The guide member 15 is provided with a notch 16a of a guide body 16, an insert shaft 19 is inserted into a mounting hole 17, the paper pressing guide 18 horizontally rotatable is positioned so as to easily set an operation state where the paper pressing guide 18 is projected on the documents or a non-operation state.
