PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler type traveling device of low vibration and superior in resistance against derailment of a wheel. SOLUTION: This device is provided with crawler belts 6 which have a left and right direction reinforcement material 9 embedded in a crawler body 8 formed in an endless belt shape from elastic material, a left and right pair of guide projection parts 10 provided in a center side in a left and right direction of an inner peripheral side C of the crawler body 8, and a lug 11 provided in an outer peripheral side D of the crawler body 8 provided at an interval in a crawler peripheral direction A. The device is provided with rotating wheels 4 including a center wheel 15 arranged in the inner peripheral side C of the crawler belt 6 and rotatably moving between the left and right guide projection parts 10 and a side wheel 16 rotating at an outer part in the left and right direction of the guide projection part 10. The lug corresponding to a part on which the side wheel 16 of the rotating wheels 4 rotates is arranged between the reinforcement materials 9 adjacent in a crawler peripheral direction A.
