PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling-wave tube made compact having a diameter of a vacuum outer case arranged smaller. SOLUTION: The traveling-wave tube comprises a plurality of collector electrodes, a plurality of insulating ceramics which fix the collector electrodes inside the vacuum outer case with a predetermined insulation performance given and are provided corresponding to the collector electrodes respectively and a plurality of high-voltage lead wires connecting the collector electrodes to the outside of the vacuum outer case through holes provided on the insulating ceramics so as to supply a prescribed voltage to the collector electrode from the outside, wherein each insulating ceramics is formed in a cylindrical shape with a center axis of the inside diameter and the center axis of the outside diameter shifted and the holes are provided at parts such as thicker in the wall thickness in the radial direction.
