PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate drumming, gear pitch errors, and squareness errors by preventing deflection of a gearbox resulting from a gear axial component of force acting on the lid part of the gearbox. SOLUTION: The gearbox 13 accommodating a plurality of gears has a box part 400 having an opening 426; a lid part for closing the opening; and a plurality of bolts for connecting the box part 400 and the lid part together at different connecting positions Q1 to Q6. The axial ends of the plurality of gears are held against the lid part. The plurality of gears whose axial ends are held by the lid part have their respective axes formed by connecting together the connecting positions Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 and Q5 of the plurality of bolts.
