A method for sending a message containing a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to a customer. The method includes recording in a customer's telephone system a destination address of the communications terminal, selecting at least one URL to be sent to the communications terminal during a telephone call, obtaining the destination address, generating a message containing the URLs, and sending the message from a telephone system of the merchant or sender to the destination address of the customer's communications terminal.
