PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fashionable elastic warp knit having thin thickness, beautiful mesh and good fittability. SOLUTION: This elastic warp knit is 1×1 tricot using a nonelastic yarn and an elastic yarn traveling with each other, and knitted by each needle in which at least one of the nonelastic and elastic yarns is in a closed eye. The stability of the knit is improved and the loop drop thereof is prevented by knitting the knit by regulating the runner so as to be narrow in the width by increasing the amount of the yarn. The stability of the knit is further improved by regulating the temperatures for heat set and dyeing processing so as to be high, and the time for treatment so as to be long. As a result, the knit after cutting can be sewed as it is to simplify the sewing and to provide a new fashion. The knit obtained by using a jacquard raschel knitting machine and cut away, optionally after arranging the pattern, can be processed into a product of clothes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
