CRAFT WOVEN FABRIC AND METHOD FOR WEAVING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a craft woven fabric to be rated high as a handicraft even if woven by a handloom and being small in size because of being uniform in terms of appearance and touch feeling over the range from the respective edge rims 25 and 26 at weave beginning side and weave ending side to the left and right selvedge rims 14 and 14, and to provide such a handloom for widespread use with enhanced practical value. SOLUTION: This craft woven fabric is made by the following procedure: a pseudowarp 15 with a U-shaped terminal formed foldedly is woven in a fabric with the terminal 16 projected outside of the edge rims 25 and 26 of the fabric, the projected end 18 of a warp 11 or weft 13 projected outside of the edge rims 25 and 26 is inserted into the ring-shaped gap 17 of the terminal 16, and the end 19 opposite to the terminal 16 is pulled to draw the projected end 18 of the warp 11 or weft 13 into the fabric.
