PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin care preparation which is highly safe, has excellent storage stability and bleaching effect on the skin. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation comprises at least one kind of a compound selected from the group consisting of hydroquinone and its derivative and at least one kind of a compound selected from the group consisting of 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid, diethylenetriaminetetraacetic acid and their salts.
