PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid catalyst for olefin polymerization having high polymerization activity and capable of obtaining excellent powder, an olefin polymerization catalyst and a method for producing an olefin polymer. SOLUTION: The olefin polymerization solid catalyst component can be obtained by reacting (a) a halogen-containing titanium compound, (b) an alkoxy group-containing magnesium compound, and (c-1) a halogen-containing silicon compound having a molar ratio of the halogen to the alkoxy group in the above alkoxy group-containing magnesium compound (b) of≥0.50 or the above components (a), (b), and (c-1), and (d) an electron-donating compound at a temperature of 120°C to 150°C, washing the reaction product with an inert solvent, reacting the obtained reaction product with the halogen-containing titanium compound (a) at a temperature of 120°C to 150°C at least once, and washing the reaction product with an inert solvent.
