PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image reading method for more efficiently reading out radiation information stored in a storage phosphor sheet without generating the reduction of image sharpness and to provide a radiation image conversion panel. SOLUTION: In the radiation image reading method for reading out a radiation image by simultaneously and two-dimensionally scanning the radiation image conversion panel having a storage phosphor accumulating at least radiation images on the surface of a supporting body with a plurality of exciting light components having mutually different wavelength regions and detecting stimulated light generated from the panel due to the scanning, the same pixel on the panel is simultaneously exited by the exiting light components.
