PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compact a cylinder lock, ensuring the smooth movement of a disk tumbler. SOLUTION: A pair of linear guided sections 29 and 30 are formed to the outer periphery of the annular disk tumbler 25. A pair of linear guide sections 31 and 32 are formed to the formed wall surface of a housing chamber 21. The disk tumbler 25 can be moved so that the guided sections 29 and 30 and the guide sections 31 and 32 are slid and contacted. A spring 38 urging the disk tumbler 25 is placed outside the outer periphery of the disk tumbler 25. The spring 38 is brought near to a center line L, and the direction of the urging of the spring 38 is conformed to the direction of the guiding of the guiding sections 31 and 32.
