FIELD: wind-power engineering; windmills with plurality of windwheels. SUBSTANCE: windmill has horizontal shafts each mounting two bladed windwheels; center lines of shafts are parallel to each other so that blades of one windwheel on shaft of each adjacent pair of shafts are disposed between blades of two windwheels of other shaft; each blade is of trapezoidal shape with aperture angle equal to half the angular spacing of blades on one windwheel; blades of one windwheel on each shaft are offset relative to those of other windwheel in circular direction through half the angular spacing. EFFECT: enhanced amount of wind energy converted to useful work due to reduced section for wind flow passed through windmill and adequate choice of blade shape and location. 5 cl, 5 dwg
