PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame retardant silicone rubber composition having excellent flame retardance without discoloration in external appearance even after an ordinary pressure and hot-air vulanization and capable of providing a white silicone rubber. SOLUTION: The objective flame retardant silicone rubber composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. organopolysiloxane represented by the formula: R1nSiO(4-n)/2 (wherein R1 is the same or different non-substituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group; and (n) is a positive number of 1.98-2.02, (B) 0.5-50 pts.wt. titanium oxide prepared by a dry process which has a specific surface area of not greater than 35 m2/g, (C) 0.1-10 pts.wt. organic peroxide represented by the formula (wherein R is a non-substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group; and (n) is an integer of 1-3), and (D) 1-2,000 ppm, based on component (A), platinum or platinum base compound. |
