PURPOSE: Provided is an anti-allergic composition containing a buckwheat extract which inhibits the isolation of histamine causing allergy. Therefore, it is excellent in the relief and prevention of allergy. CONSTITUTION: An anti-allergic composition is characterized by containing a buckwheat extract in the amount of 0.1-10 wt.%, wherein the buckwheat extract is prepared by using a mixed solvent of purified water, methanol, ethanol, propanol, butanol, glycerol, propyleneglycol, 1,3-butyleneglycol at normal temperature.
