PURPOSE: A yellow soil brick and its preparation method are provided, wherein the brick has excellent insulating property and binding strength, can control the moisture and is good for the human health. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of pulverizing yellow soil and elvan, respectively; drying the dried one sufficiently to remove moisture; mixing 98 wt% of yellow soil, 1 wt% of elvan and 1 wt% of charcoal as an additive and mixing the mixture with water with stirring to prepare paste; pouring the paste into a brick frame; and press molding it to produce a yellow soil brick(200).
