PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower manufacturing cost of a stopper plate of shift cam feed gear without while ensuring required function thereof. SOLUTION: A stopper plate is secured at one end of a shift cam composing a transmission to rotate the shift cam at intervals of a predetermined angle. The stopper plate 17 having a plurality of cam surfaces 17a-0-17a-5 on its external surface and a plurality of pins 17c on its end surface is manufactured by press working of a sheet metal as a single piece. This method of manufacturing reduces press die cost, simplifies manufacturing process, and lowers total manufacturing cost. Thus manufacturing stopper plate 17 functions satisfactorily since it has cam surfaces 17a-0-17a-5 of permissible roughness and pins 17c of enough strength.
