PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the escutcheon attaching work easier and simpler and also removing it from the door more easily thereby improving the workability. SOLUTION: This is the construction of a pair of inner and outer escutcheons 7 and 9 arranged at an end edge portion at a free side of a door 1 protruded to an inner surface of the outer side escutcheon 9 and provided in an inner surface space portion between an inserting rod 15 penetrating through a door 1 and an inner surface space portion of the inner side escutcheon 7, its inner diameter is almost the same as the outer diameter of the tip of the insertion rod 15, and its construction comprises an oscillating piece 37 equipped with an linking hole 43 through which the tip of the insertion rod 15 is penetrated, an urging means 39 for press-fitting the outer peripheral surface of the insertion rod 15 to the inner peripheral surface of the linking hole 43 of the insertion rod 15 by exerting the oscillating piece 37 to a predetermined direction, an operation hole 25 drilled to the surface 7a of an inner side escutcheon 7, and a control piece 45 for oscillating an oscillating piece 37 by the operation from the outer portion of the inner side escutcheon through the operation hole 25 provided in the oscillating piece 37.
