PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition device which has a desk or a table foldably mounted thereon as a workbench, to thereby contribute to effective use of a room. SOLUTION: The partition device is constructed by mounting the partition panel 4 in a space defined by a plurality of struts 3 erected between a floor surface 1 and a ceiling surface 2. In the partition device, a pair of upper and lower horizontal rods 5, 6 are connected to the mutually adjacent struts 3 to form a square frame 9 which stores therein the folding table 10. The folding table 10 is rotatable between a folding position in which the table is stored in the square frame 9 to form part of a partition panel surface, and a service position in which the table is protruded from the square frame 9 in the horizontal direction.
