PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flush-valve operating section being smoothly operated without catching a push button even when any place of the push button is pushed and surely transmitting force to a push bar in a flush valve in which the lift of a piston valve section is started by operating the push bar by the push button. SOLUTION: Openings are formed to the outer periphery of the connecting section of the push button and a guide and the inside diameter section of the opening hole of a box nut, and the degree of freedom of the inclination of the push button is increased by forming a smooth R to the external section of the opening hole of the box nut, thus solving the above problem. The abrasion of the inside diameter of the box nut and the guide is reduced by introducing the push-button guide manufactured of a stainless steel plate having excellent slidability between the box nut and the guide, and the looseness of the push button as one of the factors of a catch into the opening hole of the box nut for the push button can be inhibited.
