PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of an actuator of an objective lens for optical disk against an external vibration given in a nonenergized state by preventing a break of suspension wires of a wire suspension which suspends a lens holder. SOLUTION: A damping member 10 is provided at the part at which the suspension wire 7 is fixed on the lens holder 3. Or the damping member 10 is provided at the part of a yoke base 1 or of an actuator cover 11 to which the lens holder 3 may abut when the vibration is applied. Or a movable stopper member 12 is provided at an abutting position with the lens holder 3 from which the holder retracts during an energized period and to which position the holder abuts during an unenergized period.
