PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a user has to do a complicated work to actually perform adjustment in an arranging environment by hand in order to decide a proper changeover sequence of a motor voltage in response to the arranging environment for a valve positioner in a conventional manner, since there is possibility of an abnormality in adjusting the opening degree of a valve owing to the generation of a deviation which is larger than originally expected in accordance with the arranging environment, even when the user selects the valve positioner by considering the arranging environment for the valve positioner, etc. SOLUTION: The valve positioner A substantially includes: an angle detecting apparatus 40 for detecting the opening degree of the valve which is connected coaxially with an output shaft 61; a setting value input apparatus 50 for inputting a desired target setting opening degree; a memory 20 provided with a storage function; and a control unit 10 for performing different decisions based on data and information obtained from the respective parts, and outputting a command to a motor driving circuit 30 to actually control a motor 60.
