PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take in seawater without an artificial operation. SOLUTION: A segment 10 has a plurality of segment units 12 in which a cylindrical body is divided along the peripheral direction, and the unit 12 has a segment body 14 and an intake section 16. The intake section 16 has intake holes 16a, a porous permeable plate 16b, a permeable layer 16c, cover bodies 16d and an impermeable sheet 16e made of a biodegradable resin. The intake hole 16a is formed in a cylindrical hole in which both ends are opened, and one opening end is opened into (the pit inside) of the segment unit 12. The porous permeable plate 16 is installed so as to cover the outsides of the opening ends on the upper sides of the intake holes 16a. The permeable layer 16c is formed in a porous body, in which a large number of continuous voids are formed and which has permeability. The impermeable sheet 16e made of the biodegradable resin is made of the synthetic resin decomposed by bacteria or the like in seawater. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
