PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow melting machine capable of melting massive snow by jetting hot water directly to the massive snow thrown into a snow melting tank, and agitating to convey the massive snow in the snow melting tank. SOLUTION: This snow melting machine comprises a snow melting tank 1 for melting the thrown-in massive snow; an agitating apparatus 2 for agitating the massive snow thrown into the snow melting tank 1; and a hot water supply device 3 disposed at the upper part of the snow melting tank 1 to jet hot water to the thrown-in massive snow. The agitating apparatus 2 comprises a rotating shaft 10 rotatably supported in parallel to a bearing 9 mounted to the snow melting tank 1; an agitating cylinder 11 fixed to the outer periphery of the rotating shaft 10; support bars 12 fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the agitating cylinder 11, radially projecting at appropriate spaces; and left inclined plates 13, right inclined plates 14 and horizontal plates 15 respectively fixed to the tips of the support bars 12.
