FIELD: computer - aided design and operation of industrial installations in basic material industry. SUBSTANCE: computer-based control system used for developing, designing, throwing in operation, servicing, and optimizing separate components of industrial installation or integrated systems uses models for describing process related to automatic control in the form of, say, mathematical-and-physical models, neuron network models, or knowledge-base systems, process decentralization and optimization being made due to one or more control stations integrated in network using advanced communication means for on-line or separate monitoring of process variations or at least their checkup against model; process models, variables, and software are specifically coordinated with installation.
