PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there are a large number of examples that a flexible member is interposed as a locking for a fastening tool but the fastening member is loosened finally because wood is shrunk by an air seasoning and the fastening tool is loosened when wood is fastened. SOLUTION: In a fastening holding device for wood, the side brought into contact with a member to be fastened is formed in a plane 6 and a folded-back front end section is formed in a plane 8 approximately parallel with the plane 6 in a leaf spring 5 formed by folding back a plate composed of a rectangular spring material, a hole 9 in which the fastening member is passed is formed to both planes 6 and 8, two wedge pieces 12 and 16, against which inclined planes 14 and 18 are abutted mutually, are installed between the plane 6 and the plane 8, and the other wedge piece 16 is urged by a coil spring 21 while being moved to one wedge piece 12 in the leaf spring arranged between the fastening tool and the member to be fastened, thus constituting a section between the fastening member and the member to be fastened of a rigid body at all times even when the member to be fastened is shrunk.
