PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for weaving a boss type structural body with a flange integrally and continuously without a seam and to obtain the structural body woven by the weaving method. SOLUTION: In the method for weaving the structural body by selectively combining braiding threads 4 having braiding angles of±θ°to an axis with central threads 5 having angles of 0°to an axis around a mandrel to organize a braided item layer and laminating a plurality of the braided item layers and weaving the structural body, the method for weaving a structural body woven in a radial direction comprises continuously carrying out a process in which in the course of weaving, the tensions at the braiding thread sides are set larger than those at the central threads and a structural body part 12 woven in the axial direction extending in the axial direction by the braiding threads and the central threads around the mandrel and a process in which the tensions at the central thread sides are set larger than those at the braiding thread sides and a structural body part 13 woven in radial direction by the braiding threads and the central threads around the mandrel.
