PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process for allyl acetate capable of stably operating for a long time by stably keeping life of a catalyst for the production of the allyl acetate for a long time. SOLUTION: The method of producing the allyl acetate uses acetic acid obtained by the direct reaction of ethylene and oxygen being not in contact with a halogenated compound and substantially excluding the halogenated compound.
