PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the collision of a disk tray with an obstacle when the obstacle is in a tray drawing direction by prohibiting a tray drawing operation. SOLUTION: When the drawing of the tray is instructed by the key operation of a remote controller, infrared light having a predetermined pulse modulation is emitted in the tray drawing direction, and the infrared light reflected by the obstacle in the tray drawing direction is received. When the received infrared light has intensity equal to or more than predetermined light intensity and the predetermined pulse modulation, the obstacle in the tray drawing direction is detected and the tray drawing operation is prohibited.
