PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera with which audio data which is simultaneously acquired at the time of photographing can be recorded together with photographed image data. SOLUTION: The digital camera capable of recording the image data and the audio data simultaneously in a recording medium is provided with an audio memory for recording the audio data for a T<SB>2</SB>time period, a recording means for recording the audio data recorded in the memory together with the image data in the medium at the time of pressing a shutter.
