PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and accurately discriminate high a speed movement of a terminal for mobile communication and to effectively limit operations such as call transmission and call termination without increasing a load on an exchange and a base station. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal 100 receives a timing signal and position information from at least three base stations (BTS 1 to 3) to detect a current position of its own terminal, and discriminates a mobile speed from a change in the current position. Thus, a base station can detect that the mobile communication terminal 100 is moving at a high speed to be able to place a limit on the call transmission and termination. Since the mobile communication terminal 100 receives a radio wave from the base station even in this state, the limit of the call transmission termination is released when the high speed movement is finished. Thus, it is possible to give trouble to surrounding people on a public transportation facility and to prevent the user himself from being surprised at a ringer tone. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
