PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent memory dump from being forcibly stopped when abnormality occurs in an active computer without requiring special hardware.SOLUTION: An active computer includes: a computer management device for managing the active computer; a communication unit for transmitting first operation information indicating that a first OS providing business is operating to a standby computer; and a second OS for outputting the contents of a memory after the occurrence of failure in the first OS. The computer management device has second operation information capable of setting the operation state of the first OS. The active computer sets operation start to the second operation information at the start of business, and when the first OS stops due to failure, sets operation stop to the second operation information and then starts the second OS. After the elapse of a first prescribed time from receiving the first operation information, the standby computer obtains the second operation information and takes over the business of the active computer if the second operation information is in the operation stop.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
