PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key management system which enables information on histories of taking a key out of/into a key storage box of a key storage device to be collected by an administrative server, even if an administrator does not go to an installation place of the key storage device in each case. SOLUTION: The key storage box 7 of the key storage device 1 is locked by an electric lock 15. In the key storage device 1, when authentication information, which is composed of ID data of an IC card and a personal identification number, corresponds to authentication information for collation, which is registered in an authentication information storage part 12A, a control part 14 performs the unlocking control of the electric lock 15; and when an opening/ closing door is closed after a user deposits or checks out the key, the control part 14 sends out information on these operations as the information on the histories to the server 4 along with image data of an imaging camera 10 via the Internet 2.
