PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade fuse capable of being efficiently manufactured without degrading a yield ratio. SOLUTION: Each time a fuse material 11 consisting of a long-sheet conductive plate is moved by a pitch for one piece of a fuse element 2, each outer shell part in a double-plate substrate 4 is formed in punching one after another. In the punching process, a part hooked to an ensuing fuse element 2 (a separated part 9 finally to be cut off) is punching formed at a position separated from a tip edge part of a terminal part 6 with a tapered part formed on the double- plate substrate. Then, the tapered part 7 is press molded at the tip edge of the terminal part 6 with the fuse element 2 yet hooked to the fuse material 11 through the separated part 9.
